Lenardt Cemetery is locate 3.5 miles north of Calhan on the North Calhan Highway. It is set in a pasture 3/8 of a mile west of the highway on a clay hill with a cedar tree inside the fence. Only one marker is now standing, but other graves are outlined with rocks. According to GPS-derived geolocation (accurate to within 10 meters), the cemetery's coordinates are latitude 39°05'24.1"N and longitude 104°18'01.3"W. The following was taken from an article in the Ranchland News, February 23, 1995, page 13, titled "Blast from the Past":

"Feb. 24, 1905 (Calhan News): Bessie Hopkins, the 11-year-old daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J.F. Hopkins, died Feb 20, after a five week illness with typhoid fever and complications of other diseases. Funeral services were conducted at the home Tuesday by Rev. Shea and interment was made at the Leonard cemetery."
